Don’t be fooled by the playful title of this book, it has so much heart and depth – it just had me all in the feels.
Fee and Mac are just so adorable together. The progression from fake dating felt so effortless and loved that there was no big drama there, it just felt like the natural next step. Its duel POV so you can literally see that they both want it so bad, they just need to be brave enough to be honest. So yes the romance was perfect!
This book also touches a little on grief, if you’ve read If You Love Me, you will know that Fee’s family has suffered some loss in the past and Fee opens up a lot about this. I think it helped strengthen the relationship between her and Mac as it gave him lots of insight on why she is the way she is.
I also loved seeing all the old gang pop up from the other books, the badass babe brigade were featured a lot and it was lovely to see where everyone was in life. The new side characters introduced were a riot and I’m hoping we get books from their POV in the future.
Overall this was a fantastic read and it really cemented my love for fake dating. yable read, just thought it could have been a bit more developed. I will continue as I need to know what happens next
