Things I should never, under any circumstances ever do: ask my secret crush, aka. the most notorious (reformed) playboy in pro hockey, to take my virginity.
Too bad, I did.
After a string of terrible dates, I did the unthinkable. I propositioned Flip Madden.
Of course, he said no.
It isnโt that heโs almost a decade older than me, or that Iโm still in university.
Itโs because Iโm his coachโs oldest daughter.
Not to mention my dad would bludgeon him with his hockey stick if he found out.
Which he wonโt, because it will never happen.
And now things are awkward because thereโs no going back.
Except Flip is more protective than ever, and his eyes follow me around every room weโre in together. He brings flowers to my recitals and reads all the books I recommend.
Things I should never, under any circumstances ever do: hope Flip Madden might actually want me too.

Review
Itโs finally Flip and Tallyโs turn and wow, what a bittersweet read. This is the last book in the Terror series and Iโm sad to see it end, but Iโve been waiting for Flipโs story since the very first book, and it was so worth it.
Tallyโs eldest-daughter energy really hit me, the sense of responsibility she carries for her siblings is so relatable, Iโve never felt so seen through a character. Flip, on the other hand, has grown so much since book one, and it was truly lovely to watch him mature and step fully into his feelings.
Things I loved:
- The slow-burn romance between Tally & Flip โ the pacing and development felt perfect
- The dancing scenes! Pure joy โจ
- Flip going โall inโ once he committed โ the way he treated Tally with love and respect gave me ALL the feels
- Seeing familiar faces from the previous books, which always warms my heart
- Parsnip! (You know who you are ๐ )
Things that didnโt quite land for me:
- Thereโs a lot of spice, which is fine, but a few moments felt unnecessary
- Tallyโs dadโฆ I struggled to like him. He was justโฆ frustrating
Overall, this is a fantastic conclusion to the Terror series. Flip & Tallyโs story was everything I hoped for โ heartfelt, passionate, and satisfying. Iโm still holding out hope we get more glimpses into this world, because Iโm definitely not ready to say goodbye.
My Rating: 4/5 ๐๐๐๐
