Review
It’s finally Flip and Tally’s turn and wow, what a bittersweet read. This is the last book in the Terror series and I’m sad to see it end, but I’ve been waiting for Flip’s story since the very first book, and it was so worth it.
Tally’s eldest-daughter energy really hit me, the sense of responsibility she carries for her siblings is so relatable, I’ve never felt so seen through a character. Flip, on the other hand, has grown so much since book one, and it was truly lovely to watch him mature and step fully into his feelings.
Things I loved:
- The slow-burn romance between Tally & Flip — the pacing and development felt perfect
- The dancing scenes! Pure joy ✨
- Flip going “all in” once he committed — the way he treated Tally with love and respect gave me ALL the feels
- Seeing familiar faces from the previous books, which always warms my heart
- Parsnip! (You know who you are 😅)
Things that didn’t quite land for me:
- There’s a lot of spice, which is fine, but a few moments felt unnecessary
- Tally’s dad… I struggled to like him. He was just… frustrating
Overall, this is a fantastic conclusion to the Terror series. Flip & Tally’s story was everything I hoped for — heartfelt, passionate, and satisfying. I’m still holding out hope we get more glimpses into this world, because I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye.
