Mayhem and the Mortal – Shanora Williams
If you’ve been following my Friday Five series, you’ll know this book has already appeared once. That’s because it’s not only one of my favourite reads of the year, its one I don’t think gets the attention it deserves.
A Requiem of Fallen Stars – Hazel S. Wilkes
This book is perfection – it has everything you want from a fantasy book, mystery, intrigue, and plenty of shadow daddy vibes if thats your thing plus and bad ass FMC! I cannot wait to read the next.
A Touch of Gold and Madness – K. L. Devore
Probably one of the most unique fantasy books I’ve come across in recent times, elemental and kinetic magic, tyrant Royalty and an ending that will have you questioning everything.
The Last One – Rachel Howzell Hall
This one will keep you guessing to the very end. One of the rare times I read a book and had no clue what was going to happen next.
The Scarlet Veil – Shelby Mahurin
This was so additive looking back, it was like I was in a fever dream whilst reading. Thin Gothic Vampire Romance
