If I had to pick one I’d probably go with Romeo and Juilet – cliche I know but I really got into this when I was in secondary school and we were force to watch the Movie version with Leo Dicaprio. I read the play not long after, that was a tough read especially for my 15 year old brain.
Books & Other Pursuits 
There were a few in high school – probably The Great Gatsby, Macbeth, Native Son (?), and many others that have slipped my memory because of my job.

Great post! I loved Romeo and Juliet when I was younger. I remember getting the manga version of it too because I needed all forms of it! Lol
