Today I’m bringing you the book challenges I’m setting myself for 2024.
GoodReads 2024
Last year I set myself the goal of reading 70 books, I read 80 books. This year I’m setting my goal to 80, I didn’t want to set it too much higher and I think this number is a managable amount.
Beat the Backlist 2024
The Rules
- The book must have been published in 2023 or earlier.
- You have to start and finish the book in 2024.
- And that’s it!
Any format, any genre. Re-reads count, you don’t have to own the book, and you can join at any time. Track your BTB reading separately or pair it with another reading challenge! More info here.

Books I must read in 2024
This challenge consists of picking books off my TBR and ensuring I read them in 2024.
These books are:

I’m doing the Goodreads/Storygraph yearly challenge, but other than that I haven’t officially pledged to anything … I may complete the Book Of The Month challenge, just because I’m trying to play catch up on BOTM picks I haven’t read yet, haha
